The designer martingale dog collar (historically known as a sighthound or greyhound collar) offers many advantages over the buckle dog collar such as preventing a dog from backing out of the collar! With our quality and style, they've been quickly established as a mainstay at PetWear. To order, just go to the dog section (via right navigation) choose your size, design and nylon color, then in the drop down menu, select Martingale.

The double loop system of the designer martingale dog collar, virtually guarantees, if properly fitted, that the smaller loop (with the D ring) will tighten on the neck when pressure from the leash is applied (like when the dog tightens the leash backing out of a regular dog collar) but will also instantly release and become comfortably loose when the pressure from the leash is released (this is not always true of choke type collars).

Here you see one of our popular designer martingale dog collars delightfully modeled by a very lucky dog with Southern States Rescued Rottweiler (SSRR). The purchase of this collar not only made this gal even more stylish but the profits all went back to SSRR.

Our snoods have also proven to be fun and practical for those with dogs of long luxurious ears and fringe - like Irish, Gordon and English Setters, Afghan Hounds, Salukis, Basset Hounds, Irish Water Spaniels, Papillons, English Springer Spaniels, English and American Cocker Spaniels and more.
